- This is a Summer picture of the iconic Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin in Milwaukee County. This church is considered Frank Lloyd Wright’s last projects as he died during construction. Frank L. Wright designed the Church h in 1956, construction began in 1959 the year Wright died, it was completed in 1961. The Church is an example of Byzantine architectural form, it features a shallow scalloped roof. This structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 19, 1974. This picture was taken on June 2, 2018.
