Jiangmen Iron bridge built in 1983 and completed in September 1984, is a pedestrian bridge connecting both sides of Jiangmen river. After completion, both sides of the bridge are equipped with colored lights, which will be turned on at night to facilitate residents to walk, and `night view of the iron bridge` was once one of the scenic features of Jiangmen. To relieve traffic pressure and protect the old bridge, Jiangmen built Shengli bridge in 2011.
