  • One of the Hathor capitals on the papyrus columns in the Temple of Nectanebo on Philae (Agilqiyya Island). Philae (also referred to as the Temple of Isis), built largely by Ptolemy II, dates from the 30th Dynasty and is one of the best preserved Ptolemaic temples in Egypt. Originally sitting on the east bank of the River Nile, the temple was relocated to higher land on the island of Agilqiyya after construction of the Aswan High Dam.
