  • Magnificent reliefs and hieroglyps on the second pylon at the Temple of Isis at Philae (Agilqiyya Island). The temple, dating from the 30th Dynasty, is one of the best preserved Ptolemaic temples in Egypt. Originally sitting on the east bank of the River Nile, the temple was relocated to higher land on the island of Agilqiyyah in the early 1970's after the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
