- Cover photo description:
- Old Orthodox Christian Church of Our Saviour and Transfiguration with bells in the Bell tower, the angle of view, Rakov, Belarus. Once in the town of Rakov there was a monastery of the Uniate Order of the Basilians. Today, only the church in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord reminds of this, the construction of which lasted 60 years and ended in 1793. After the abolition of the church union, the temple was transferred to the Orthodox community and acted as a parish church. In 1886, the architectural ensemble was supplemented by a belfry. Its building was timed to the 25th anniversary of the abolition of serfdom.
