- Photo title: A royal pavilion in Lausanne
- Author: Vatchas
- Cover photo description:
- The City of Lausanne has the privilege of being the home of a royal Thai pavilion in Denantou Park, one of its loveliest green spaces on the shores of Lake Geneva. The building was constructed in 2007 by Thai craftsmen in collaboration with the parks and promenades department. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, daughter of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, who used to live in Lausanne, presided over the inauguration of the pavilion on 17 March 2009. The film “Royalement nôtre†& x28;Royally ours& x29; traces the history and the construction of the pavilion.
