Cover photo info
- Photo title: The old Mission Police Station, San Francisco.
- Author: Peachpappa
- Cover photo description:
- The original and architecturally beautiful San Francisco Mission Police Station. The details are sketchy, but it seems this Romanesque building was started in 1899 and not completed until 1902. Either way, the police did occupy it until 1950, and then it was left vacant. After serving the needs of a real estate publisher for many years from the mid-1970`s until 1991, it then became active again during the very early dot-com period of the late 1990`s. The building is still being maintained, and quite possibly being used as a record recording studio.
