- Photo title: Aicent Wenchangge tower in Yangzhou
- Author: Freelady
- Cover photo description:
- Wenchang Pavilion dates from 1585, during the Ming Dynasty, and it remains one of the prominent monuments of the city. This former Confucian pavilion, with a roof like an umbrella, is now located on a roundabout in the middle of the downtown area. It looks quite impressive lit up at night, with its white walls gleaming, but you can`t walk across to it because it is surrounded by flower beds with no path between them.
