This pavilion is two stone and wood shelters joined together by a large horizontal wood beam, it is an example of Prairie architecture, it was designed by Alfred Caldwell, it was built in 1038. The pavilion was and the Lily Pond were declared a Chicago Landmark on November 6, 2002 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 17, 2006.
