- Author: Physi28
- Cover photo description:
- The Moli de Brotons, Brotons Water Mill is fed by the Marfa creek at the Salt de la Tosca, waterfall at the municipality of Castellcir in northeastern Catalonia. It is a semitroglodytic mill, located by taking advantage of some of the rocky characteristics of the riverbed, at the foot of La Tosca, in a place of great beauty. It was inhabited and in operation at least since 1608 in what is called Molà de Brotons or Pilares and until the second third of the nineteenth century.
