  • Cover photo description:
  • Until the August 2008 flooding, Navajo Falls was the first prominent waterfall in the canyon that is home to the Havasupai Native American tribe, and was named after an old Supai chief. In August 2008, a mudslide rerouted Havasu Creek, creating two new falls, Upper Navajo Falls and Lower Navajo Falls. They are found in two seperate locations.
