Cover photo info
- Photo title: Grenoble and the French Alpes, seen from the Bastilla mountain
- Author: 2circles
- Cover photo description:
- Grenoble is a city in southeastern France, at the foot of the French Alps where the river Drac joins the Isère, which flows in the front. In the left corner you can see Palais des sports Pierre Mendes, an indoor ice hockey arena, and Stade des Alpes, a football stadium. In the center bottom there is Tour Perret, which was built for the 1925 international exhibition on houille blanche white coal or hydroelectric power and tourism held in Grenoble. This tower could also have been the symbol of Grenoble`s know-how in reinforced concrete.
