- Cover photo description:
- The Ratna Chamber is a monument of architecture of the neo-Russian style in the city of Pushkin formerly Tsarskoye Selo, which occupies the only museum of the First World War in Russia. Located on the Ferm road, 5. The military chamber is built in the form of an irregular polygon with a courtyard. According to the plan of the architect there should have been exhibiting military trophies. On the facade of the main building there is a two-headed eagle, with galleries leading from here, connecting the central hall with the rest of the rooms, built in the form of fortress bastions. The largest eight-sided, three-tiered tower with a pointed roof is attached to the side of the main building. It creates the overall impression of a medieval fortress ready for defense.
