- Cover photo description:
- Also known as Chinese Narcissus, it is a variety of polychrome Narcissus. It is a perennial herb of Lycoris family. The leaves of Narcissus are extracted from the green-white tubular sheath at the top of the bulb commonly known as arrows and then from the leaves. Generally, each bulb can have 1-2 flowering stems, most of which can reach 8-11 branches, umbels. Most of the petals are 6, and the end of the petals is goose yellow. There is a bowl-like protective cover outside the stamens. The bulb is ovoid to broadly ovoid-globular, with a brown outer dermis. Leaves narrowly banded, capsule chamber dorsal dehiscence. Flowering in spring. Narcissus is warm, moist and well drained. It has been cultivated for more than one thousand years in China. It is a traditional ornamental flower and is the top ten famous flowers in China.
