  • The saxon churches from Transylvania are one of the landmarks of Romania. Some of them are unknown for the most travelers, but beautiful indeed. One of this churches is from Beia (north of Brasov county), built in the XIV century. Between 1490-1506 the church was fortified with three towers and a surrounding wall. Now in Beia are no more saxons, but the church is still up for travelers and photographers, like in all villages from Brasov to Sighisoara.
