- The ancient ruins of Tynemouth Priory in the North East of England. It was part of a Benedictine order. It was destroyed by the Danes in 875. Three kings were originally buried here. Northumbrian kings Osred II and Oswin. Also the Scottish king Malcolm III known from William Shakespeare`s Macbeth. The Coastguard Station was opened in 1980 but closed in 2001.
