  • Cover photo description:
  • This tumulus, that of Sant Michel, is very similar to the Glastonbury Tor, although smaller. One with a tor and one with a church on top. The mound of earth and stone 125 metres long, 50 metres wide and 10 metres high make this hill, a small hill, somewhat smaller than Silbury Hill in Avebury. And at 30,000 m3, being one of the largest points of the natural topography. The chapel, being dedicated to the archangel Saint Micheal, currently an heir to a succession of religious buildings, was superimposed from who knows when it really was … was built in 1927.
