Cover photo info
- Photo title: The hollow stone of Tolvan | A portal without a tomb
- Author: Thelegacyofthesoul
- Cover photo description:
- Tolvan’s stone gave its name to the entire state of Tolvean and is mentioned in a 1649 survey referred to as the most important stone of the town. A local tradition recorded in 1885 was that sick children – such as in the Tolmen menu – crawled through the hole in the hope of healing their sicknesses. According to another legend, it guarantees fertility to newlyweds, but only if they pass through the hole.
