- Author: Hovikm
- Cover photo description:
- Hovhannes Tumanyan House Museum In Dsegh The first of the Tumanyan sites is his home-museum where the poet lived until he was 10. His personal belongings and clothes are displayed on the first floor. Tumanyan`s miniature golden bust can also be found here; it is 1500 times smaller than a rice grain. The house was built in 1819. In those times all village houses had one room only and were constructed half underground. In front of a granary Tumanyan`s father, Ter Tedevos, added a bigger room. After becoming a priest, Ter Tadevos often visited the city.
