  • Cover photo description:
  • This amazing underground cavern has crystal clear water and natural lighting from four holes in the stone roof. It lies beneath and old abandoned mansion. This was a tour near Progresso on the Yucatan. Don`t touch the stalagtites as it takes 200 years to grow one inch and our oils can damage the porous rock. One of the most relaxing and memorable places I have visited. A Mexican princess was the first to enter the waters, which was taboo as these were considered sacred by the Maya and were thought to be the entrance to the underworld.
