  • The species is widespread in India usually found in thick forests. They feed on insects and the breeding season is between March to July. They build deep cup shaped nest in a fork of a slender branch using grass, moss, filaments of webbing, spider egg cases etc. and the female lays three or four eggs. The eggs are white in color with brown spots. Both the parents take part in incubation process which lasts for about 12 days
