Cover photo info
- Photo title: Cow in the shadow of the ruins of the fortress 175
- Author: Yarvegera
- Cover photo description:
- In the Middle Ages, one of the trade routes from China and other Asian countries to Europe passed along the Kura Valley. Dozens of fortresses were built along this path in Georgia. Unfortunately, most of these fortresses are now destroyed. Today, cows feel like the real mistresses of the Khertvisi fortress. They freely relax in the shade, ignoring the passing tourists. The landscape is similar to paintings by Italian the Renaissance artists, where livestock graze on the ruins of the Roman Empire palaces.
