  • Pictured are two former artillery sheds adapted by minimalist artist Donald Judd to house his 100 untitled works in mill aluminum. They were installed between 1982 and 1986. Each of the 100 works has the same outer dimensions 41 x 51 x 72 inches, although the interior is unique in every piece. They are at the part of the Chinati Foundation`s permanent collection. Funding was provided by the Dia Art Foundation. They are located in the tiny artsy town of Marfa in far West Texas. Marfa is a tourist destination and major center for minimalist art.
