- Cover photo description:
- An abandoned Studebaker rests on the side of the road near Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. Based out of South Bend, Indiana, the Studebaker Brothers firm originally produced wagons, buggies, and carriages before entering the automobile business in 1902. Their first gasoline vehicle hit the market in 1912 and over the next fifty years, Studebaker had a relatively good reputation for reliability and quality. Unfortunately, their financial situation was worse off than the quality of their vehicles, and eventually they had to shut down in the late 1960`s. I`m sure many of our parents and grandparents have fond memories of these unique and beautiful old cars.
