- Cover photo description:
- Cable-stayed bridge in Kakum National Park in Southern Ghana, Africa. The park protects one of the most extensive semi-deciduous rainforest habitats in Ghana. The height of trees in the forest reaches 40-70 m and the main tourist attraction at Kakum is the canopy walk, constructed in 1995 with the support of US AID. The canopy walk consists of a system of wood-and-rope walkway suspended between giant trees, and viewing platforms (40 m above the ground level). Kakum National Park is one of the major tourist destinations in Ghana.
