On the photograph one can see the international well known and famous sign for “ Peace †which is designed with the black playing pieces or stones on the wooden board of the famous Go BoardGame. The original Peace sign to which this photograph relates was designed 1958 as logo for the British Nuclear Disarmament Movement by the designer Gerald Holtom. The concept behind the sign is that it is a super-imposition of the semaphore signals of the letter “ N “ and “ D “ for Nuclear Disarmament.
