The eyes are yellow, the ears pinnate and the sides of the head purplish blue. The upper back, waist, and tail are bright blue, with dark overheads and short rounded tail feathers that are dark blue or black with blue patches. The undercoat on the wing and shoulder is dark blue, and the undercoat on the wing has diamond blue spots. The flight feathers are black. Secondary flight feathers have purple-blue Edge, the most inner flight feathers almost all purple-blue, the inner edge of the Brown, neck on both sides of a long oval-shaped white or yellow-white skin spots. Chin and throat for white or yellow-white skin, the rest of the body for the chestnut or dark red-brown. Iris Dark Brown, black mouth, feet bright red.
