Cover photo info
- Photo title: Forget-me-not Myosotis sylvatica
- Author: Helenauditore
- Cover photo description:
- Tiny, azure flowers make up the top double twists, rarely the side twists. The flowers consist of a bell-shaped, hairy, three-quarters divided calyx. The crown is markedly azure blue, but at first pink, rarely white. The change in color from pink to blue, which can be observed during flower development, is related to the change in the degree of acidity in the petal cells. It measures 5–8 mm in diameter, in the mouth it is yellow with five bumps. They are shiny, black-brown and pointed. Forget-me-not blooms from May to September.
