  • Covering an area of 660 hectares, Nara Park includes the Todaiji, Kofukuji and Shosakura temples from the Tianping Period (710-784). It is a magnificent, tree-lined historical park. The most famous is the herd of deer at Haruhi Daishisha, which is taken good care of as a messenger of the gods. In addition, there are about 1,700 cherry trees of different varieties in the park, which are dominated by Nara Hachiko and Nokko Sakura. Especially the Xianglu Pond, the foothills of Ruocao Mountain, the East Pagoda Site, the area around Xingfu Temple, the Wazi Pond, the Chunhi Garden, and the area around Todaiji. There are many scenic spots worth seeing in the park, so I suggest you spend more time and appreciate them carefully. The deer, which play in groups in the park, are protected because of the legend of the white deer, which is spread by the spring day society, and are designated as national natural protected animals. It is best to enjoy the beautiful nature in the green Ruocao Mountain and deer fur beautiful in April or May, or the mountains full of red leaves in autumn, such as travel fun, graduation travel season. However, during the off-season you can take a leisurely stroll here. At any time of the year, there are attractions here.
