- Loch Kinord is a small, freshwater loch at Muir of Dinnet, Aberdeenshire, Scotland just north of the River Dee, east of Ballater. The loch is also known as Loch Ceander and Loch Cannor. It was formed from a glacial kettle hole. The loch is encompassed by the Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve, managed by Scottish Natural Heritage. It is also encompassed by The Cairngorms National Park, which is Scotland’s and Britain’s largest National Park 4,582 km2 and contains a unique range of landscapes, wildlife, and habitats.
