Cover photo info
- Photo title: Locality `Ships` - Sinemorets, Bulgaria
- Author: Danidimov
- Cover photo description:
- When you walk to the estuary of the Veleka River and go down the bank to the rocks south of the sandy strip, you will find yourself in the Korabite area. The rocks are sharp and vertical, and next to them is nestled the bay of St. Yani. A little further down is the fishing port. The etymology of the origin of the names in the area leads to the conclusion that pirates went wild in ancient Sinemorets. It is believed that in the area the Ships lit a fire on the high rocks imitating a lighthouse and lured merchant ships to crash into the rocks.
