  • Cover photo description:
  • Garganta la Olla is a municipality located in the province of Cáceres in the Spanish Extremadura. It is situated very close to the Sierra de Tormantos mountains, a spur of the Sierra de Gredos mountains, and that stands out for the ravines that give it its name. In 1978 Garganta la Olla was declared a Historical-Artistic Site due to the good conservation status of its traditional half-timber architecture and its stately homes. In the center little church tower, built between the 15th and 16th centuries and combining different architectural styles, such as Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo styles.
