  • Due to climate change and a severely reduced snowfall in recent years, Big Bear Lake and the adjoining Grout Bay have had water levels substantially reduced. Grout Bay is now a lush meadow. Not too many years ago you could use these kayaks in the water. Now they serve as a stark reminder to climate change. They look like tombstones!
