  • This little winged creature was spotted in the field while I was walking the paths. I saw him amongst all the weeds and flowers sitting on a thistle. He looked like he was on alert and looking for food. These little guys only eat fruit, nectar, and insects so they have to look for anything in their diet they can find. This is probably why you do not see these guys in Pennsylvania during the winter months. This picture was taken in Bryn Coed nature preserve in Chester Springs Pennsylvania.
