- Cover photo description:
- Paleisbrug revisited. The Paleisbrug is a hiking bridge with a citypark in `s-Hertogenbosch. It connects the neighbourhood Paleiskwartier with Het Zand and the inner city. The bridge is besides the High Line in Manhattan, New York, the second parkbridge in the world. On the bridge there are ornaments in Corten Steel and little gardens. In this picture you see the stairs to climb the bridge from the city side. On the lowes staircase the name of the bridge is incripted. On the left the elevator complex next to the stairs. The side boards of the stairs are made of corten steel. The bridge is designed by Benthem Crouwel Architekts. The gardens and trees are made by a design of Piet Oudolf, also involved with the design of the High Line.
