- Cover photo description:
- A handmade river cane Pan pipes flute or Zampoña in Latin American spanish, or Antara in Quechua and Siku in Aymara. Syrinx in ancient Greek. A wind instrument still used as traditional in the Andean cultures Inca of Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile and in other Native Nations around the Americas. It is decorated with the rainbow colors of the Incan empire flag made with colored wrapped thread and wooden beads. This instrument can reach up to two full octaves. By blowing on the by a certain angle a very beautiful sound is produced. The length of each pipe determines the note that will be produced. The longer or wider it is, the more bass the sound will be. This traditional design places the heptatonic notes in a zig zag pattern and so the item itself is not taking too much space. The white background can easily be edited to make a transparent PNG image.
