- Pictured is a monochrome painting on one end of a chamber in TT219, the tomb of nebenmaat in Deir el-medina. At the top is Isis, the goddess of healing and magic associated with life and rebirth. Below Mertseger is playing a flute and Nebenmaat is making an offering Osiris, Amenhotep I, Hathor, and Ahmos Nefertari. Nebenmaat was an ancient egyptian artisan who lived with other workmen in Dar el-Medina. They built and decorated the tombs in the nearby Valley of the Kings as well as their own tombs in Deir el-Medina. As other workmen who lived there, he was titled `Servant in the Place of Truth`. He was buried with his wife Mertseger. The paintings are in the monochrome style.
