Cover photo info
- Photo title: Bird of prey caught in flight flying to find prey
- Author: Butlerla791
- Cover photo description:
- This is a Cooper's hawk and was flying from my peach tree in my yard when I took this picture. I saw him in the tree and of course as soon as he saw me, he flew. These are beautiful raptors and help to keep so many animals under control by hunting them with their sharp talons. I love the stripes in his feathers and the brown speckles on the belly. This hawk was caught perfectly in the air and I love how much detail you can see. This picture was taken in the East Coventry township close to Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
