Cover photo info
- Photo title: Two Romanesque pillars
- Author: Culturalstockphoto
- Cover photo description:
- Unique Romanesque(-like) crypt in Friesland area, Netherlands, Europe. This crypt looks like the perfect Romanesque crypt, and in fact a lot of the materials used in this room are really that old (probably used a second time) and really Romanesque (such as the pillars and the shaped stones). This crypt was probably 15th. or 16 th. century build, so that is after the Romanesque period. Until today, no one knows exactly how old the crypt is.
