  • These are Psarocolius montezuma bird nests. The Montezuma oropendola, New World tropical icterid bird, inhabits forest canopy, edges and old plantations. It is a colonial breeder and only the females build hanging woven nest of fibres and vines, 60–180 cm (24–71 in) long, in trees that are up to 30 meters high. This tree with these nests is in the Central Square of Tikal National Park, Petén, Guatemala.
