- Photo title: Green Lake in Southeastern FingerLakes a frozen glacial kettle lake
- Author: Mccrainemercantile
- Cover photo description:
- Green Lake is one of the Tully Lakes, a group of six lakes - along with Tully, Tracy, Mud, Green, and Song called kettles because they were formed when large chunks of glacial ice melted and left a depression. The Tully Lakes are at the southern end of the Tully Valley and the northern end of the Tioughnioga Valley. Part of the Dwyer Park along with Little York Lake and Goodale Lake. Little York is a deep lake located in Southeastern Fingerlakes in Cortland County near the Hamlet of Preble. It offers a diverse fishery with its deep cool water and plentiful shallow warmer water areas and has a two-story fishery with both cold and warm water gamefish present.
