- Photo title: San Francisco Fire Department historic and unique station 35
- Author: Peachpappa
- Cover photo description:
- San Francisco being a port city, the fire department also gets calls for both water rescues and ship fires. This station, built in 1915,twenty one years before the Bay Bridge,no longer meets todays fire safety requierments. For one,the unreinforced masonry building may come down during the next big quake. Also, the bay doors are too narrow for todays wider trucks. Their engine is from 2002,and was a special order just for them. As seen 30 January 2018.
