- Photo title: Bernal Heights branch library San Francisco 1
- Author: Peachpappa
- Cover photo description:
- The Bernal Heights branch of the San Francisco Public library was originally at 303 Cortland,in 1920. But as the city and this neighborhood grew,it moved next door,in 1936. It moved yet again in 1940 to this building,by famed architect Fredrick Meyer and paid by the Works Project Administration. By 2008,it was ready for much needed renovations and upgrades, which was completed in January 2010. Fortunately the controversial art works have remained. As enjoyed 22 August 2023.
