- Cover photo description:
- Big Moose Gothic Chapel construction, using local Adirondack granite, and under the direction of a well-known local builder, Earl Covey, proceeded until it’s completion in July 1930. On the eve of the first service, fire broke out and destroyed most of the building. The building was restored and completed the following summer. The rebuilt Chapel was dedicated on August 2, 1931. The Chapel architecture is on the National Register of Historic places and considered an outstanding example of local architecture.
