- Corner section of the exterior walls of the ruins of a kasba (or qasba, fortified settlement) outside the Moroccan town of Imouzzer Kandar in the province of Sefrou. The qasba is built on a high-point on the road between Fez (Fès) and Meknès via Ifrane in the Middle Atlas on at an altitude of 1300 metres, dominating the Saïs plain, which can be seen in the background. The modern town was built in the early years of the French Protectorate as a resort and agricultural. The walls built of pressed earth (adobe or tapia) and show the square holes left by the tie-points of the wooden beams used in the construction.
