  • Desert Sotul belongs to the genus Dasylirion. The plant is native to Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. The plant is often used in southwestern gardens. Dasylirion can grow 7 feet tall (2 m.) with a flowering spike an astounding 15 feet (4.5 m.) in height. The dark green-gray leaves are slender and adorned with sharp teeth at the edges.
