  • Ratlami Sev, also known as Karappoosa or Andhra Savoury Sev, is showcased on a white plate against a blue patterned background, accompanied by a small bowl of white chutney. Renowned for its spicy kick, Ratlami Sev holds a cherished place as a favorite snack among vegetarians across India.ingredients and preparation:In a large bowl, mix besan, rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, hing, and water. Don't add water at a time. Add it little by little until a tight dough forms. Heat oil for deep frying. Once the oil is hot, place a small ant-sized portion of the dough into the oil it should immediately rise to the top. Then add 4 teaspoons of hot oil to the dough in the bowl and mix well. Use a Murukku Press with a small hole circle attachment, placing a lemon-sized portion of dough in it. If the dough doesn't form long threads, add a little water and try again. Press the Murukku Press above the hot oil to create large outer circles, then fill the inside. A lemon-sized dough can yield 2-3 murukkus. Cook for 2 minutes on each side, then strain on absorbent paper.
