  • Cover photo description:
  • Lilium 'Navona' is an Asiatic lily hybrid variety of white lilies, used in cutflowers production worldwide. It has big upward-facing, white flowers, with dark green foliage, that flower from late spring to early summer. Lilium is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs, all with large prominent flowers. They are true lilies and are tall perennials. They form underground bulbs. Flowers come in a wide range of colors including whites, yellows, oranges, pinks, reds and purples. Markings include spots and brush strokes. Flowers are borne at the tip of the stem, with six tepals spreading or reflexed, to give flowers varying from funnel shape to a "Turk's cap".
