- Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau, younger brother of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, was buried under an avalanche in Austrian Lech on 17 February 2012 and on 12 August 2013, it was announced that Prince Friso had died in Huis ten Bosch due to complications from the accident.
