  • Kharanagh is a wonderful very old mud-brick village in an oasis in Yazd province, Iran. The very old ruin village has become a famous tourist destination for day tours from Yazd which usually include a visit to Meybod and Chak Chak. The photo shows the restored minaret of the mosque which is still in very good condition. Remarkable are the stone mosaics. It has a very narrow staircase inside.
